When living in the south you might hear people tell you to expect to see palmetto bugs, roaches and other creepy crawlers, but just because you live in the south doesn’t mean you have to live with bugs.

You’ve probably also heard the phrase “everything is bigger in the south,” which brings to mind the size of those southern palmetto bugs. However, these big bugs are nothing compared to their cousin cockroaches that live in more tropical regions. One roach, called the giant cave cricket, grows to four inches long.

A southern location EcoShield Pest Control proudly serves is the popular city and surrounding area of Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta offers culture and culinary delight, but like all cities, they have their trials with bugs such as the recent stink bug infestation.
