At EcoShield, going above and beyond is more than a motto — it is part of the company culture. Orecchio’s actions reflect that commitment in a meaningful way.
A valued member of EcoShield’s Denver North branch for more than two and a half years, Orecchio says he recognized a strong sense of connection and communication from his first day with the company. Unlike workplaces where new employees may feel isolated, he found an environment that encouraged collaboration and growth. “It feels a lot easier to express problems and get things solved,” he shared.
The situation unfolded during Orecchio’s final service stop of the day. Strong, cold winds
What could have been an all-weekend chore was completed in approximately one hour through their combined effort. As they worked, Orecchio observed a noticeable shift in the customer’s demeanor. “At the end of it, he was just incredibly thankful, and it felt so good to help,” Matthew recalled.
Orecchio believes that going above and beyond extends beyond his role as a service technician; it reflects his personal values. Throughout his career and personal life, he has experienced how stepping in to help — even after someone initially declines — can create meaningful impact. “At the end of it all, it’s going to make the person you just helped feel ten times lighter,” he explained.
Whether clearing tumbleweeds, helping a stranger with groceries, or simply taking extra time to serve, moments like these reinforce a core belief at EcoShield: the smallest acts of service often leave the greatest impact.
