COATESVILLE, PA – April 30, 2025 – In a meaningful demonstration of community spirit and respect for those who have served, EcoShield Pest Solutions’ Philadelphia Branch proudly partnered with the Coatesville Veterans Association to install a brand-new volleyball court at their facility. The project, completed on April 30, 2025, was designed not only to enhance the recreational amenities available to local veterans but also to strengthen the bond between EcoShield and the veteran community it deeply values.
The initiative was spearheaded by Field Manager Eric Richmond, who took the first step in early April by reaching out to the Coatesville Veterans Association with a desire to make a tangible impact. Inspired by a shared commitment to service, Richmond brought the idea to his team, which quickly gained the support of General Manager Brenton Miller and Service Managers Brian Buchhalter and Jeff Stevens. United by the common goal of giving back, the group collaborated closely, volunteering their time and labor to bring the court to life.
“We were thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the city that shares the name of our branch,” said Richmond. “It was truly rewarding to help clean up such a historic landmark in Philadelphia. This park serves as a recreational space for families, friends, and people from all walks of life. Knowing that we contributed to its upkeep, just as the weather is perfect for picnics and barbecues, filled us with a great sense of pride in our city.”
Throughout the day, EcoShield team members worked shoulder to shoulder, transforming an open space into a fully functional volleyball court—an addition that promises years of enjoyment for veterans and their families. The court represents more than just a recreational feature; it stands as a symbol of connection, gratitude, and shared values between EcoShield and the veterans it seeks to honor.
“This wasn’t just a team-building exercise or a one-day project—it was a heartfelt effort to show our respect and appreciation in a lasting way,” Miller added. “We were all looking for a meaningful way to give back, and this project offered the perfect opportunity to collaborate with a respected local veterans’ group. We’re proud of what we accomplished together and are eager to continue building connections with the veteran community through future initiatives.”
The volleyball court installation is one of several community engagement efforts led by EcoShield Pest Solutions, reflecting the company’s broader mission to not only protect homes and businesses but to also actively support and uplift the communities they serve.
